Sometimes things take a turn for the sentimental.

This album follows the life of Glimmer Eye, a star child whose life was destined to burn bright; so bright that it blooms in a matter of minutes and is extinguished in but a half hour. We are introduced to Glimmer as he is born out a twinkle in his mother's eye and and the proud smile of his father. His early childhood is a wash of shimmering fractals, robots, and toy soldiers marching through galaxies. *heart beat* sees follows Glimmer into his first and only love, as he gasps for breath over the pounding of his own heart and the beginnings of recognition that it cannot last forever, because he will not last forever. *counting spirals* sees him accelerating among the stars, burning ever brighter, and locking into the geometric patterns of the universe, logical and cold, but ever hopeful that the mathematics will hold the answer to his forever, his legacy. *ride* is the last blazing ride into the atmosphere of a world that will consume him, as the angels call him home. As the flames burn out, he falls to the ground as a few grains of sand and ash.

All tracks were constructed and performed live in one take on a modular synthesizer system, recorded to multitrack in Ableton Live, and finally mastered in Adobe Audition.
